What is ECTS Calculator?
The European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS) is a credit system developed by the European Commission. It facilitates the recognition of study periods undertaken abroad and ensures that academic achievements are recognized across borders. The ECTS system is widely used in Europe and has become a benchmark for credit transfer in higher education.
This tool is designed to help you convert and manage your academic credits in the context of the ECTS system

- ECTS is approx 30 study hours
- Study hours should include all hours given for that subject including assignment, projects, self study etc
- For calculator 1, No of hours can be taken from course module available with your university/college

- If No of hours of study is not available use,calculator 2
- All these forumla will give approx figure
- The calculator 2 assumes that 4 years of UG study in India has around 240 ECTS and three years of UG has 180 ECTS with your university/college
