Generally a gap of 2 – 3 years is accepted in Cyprus. In some cases a gap of 10 years can also be accepted by some of the universities for some programs under some conditions.
As most of the universities provide their course in English it is required to present them with the English Proficiency test results like IELTS or TOFEL.
In order to remain in Cyprus for a period exceeding 90 days, it is necessary to secure a temporary residence permit, commonly referred to as the “Pink Slip.” This permit enables an extension of your stay for a duration of up to four years, and the application process should be initiated before the expiration of your existing visa. If your intention is to continue residing and working in Cyprus post the completion of your studies, obtaining a residence permit is imperative. Additionally, obtaining a social insurance number is a prerequisite when commencing employment or establishing a business.
Foreign students of recognized universities are allowed to work for 20 hours a week, in specific sectors and roles.

Master’s program in Cyprus is generally of 4 semesters that is 24 months // 2 years. Some programs in Computer Science and Engineering can take 36 months – 60 months // 3 – 5 years to complete, and masters in Medecine can take 72 months // 6 years to complete.
