Tips for Preparation

The LNAT does not test legal knowledge but rather aptitude for skills required in the legal field. It’s crucial to develop critical thinking, comprehension, and strong argumentative writing skills to excel in this exam.
The Law School Admission Test is a standardized test administered by the Law School Admission Council (LSAC) for prospective law school candidates. It is designed to assess reading comprehension, analytical reasoning, and logical reasoning. The test is an integral part of the law school admission process in the United States, Canada (common law programs only), the University of Melbourne, Australia, and a growing number of other countries in order to pursue Bachelors of Law (LLB)
The top law schools such as Harvard, Stanford, Columbia, Yale have an LSAT score average of around 170-175 out of 180.
Exam Pattern
Here is a general overview of the LSAT abroad exam pattern:
Section | Time Duration |
Logical Reasoning | 35 minutes |
Analytical Reasoning | 35 minutes |
Reading Comprehension | 35 minutes |
LSAT Writing | 35 minutes |
Your LSAT or LSAT-Flex score is determined by the number of questions you answer correctly, which is your “raw score.” All questions have the same importance, and what matters for your score is the total number of correct answers, not which specific questions you answer correctly or incorrectly. There are no penalties for wrong answers.
To make it easier to compare scores from different LSAT abroad exams, your raw score is converted to the LSAT scale. This is the score you receive in your score report. The LSAT scale ranges from 120 to 180, where 120 is the lowest possible score and 180 is the highest possible score.
